Today I woke up with pain, same thing as after the marathon but definitely not the same pain level! So I'm thinking the doctor is right (she was thinking it is tendonitis) I guess I will just have to live with this after my runs and ice it always. SOOOOOO I am baaaaaccccckkkkkk!!!! I'm going to ease back into running with 2 days a week and see how my foot handles it!
I'm still on track for my Jillian Body Revolution workouts, I even took the DVDs with me out of town this weekend and did them at my sisters house! SO I start week 3 next week and I already see so much toning and shaping in my body I so so so love this workout it is my all time favorite!!!!!
I'll leave you with some highlights of my colorful weekend! It was my second time doing this run and still one of the funnest! I recommend doing it with friends and run as a group! SO FUN!!!!
The status on chocolate - Still surviving without chocolate and limiting my "cheat days" to one treat that day and not a whole day :) and it's working no gain over the long weekend, and out of town trip even with my delicious cupcake I enjoyed!!!
How are y'all doing with this long weekend and eating/workout wise?
I hope y'all are having a wonderful long weekend!!!!! XOXOXOXOXO
After all the fun we had, at the run I ended my trip at my mom's house saying our "see ya laters" my parents have their own little ranch where I grew up out doors with horses and my heart is always filled with warmth when I am at home! I am very blessed to live close enough to take weekend trips home to see my MOMMA and my Dad! They are the best!
desert sunsets say home to me.......
Keep moving forward the road is long but worth the run.........
Feeling discouraged honestly. I have gained like 5lbs since Wednesday. I haven't ate the best but not the worse either. I need to give up sweets again. I think I was just overwhelmed with the kids and house this week that I just got out of control. Hoping to start a fresh tomorrow! Thanks for the pick me up.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a lot of fun!!
Yes tomorrow is a new day! I hate how fast sugar packs on you right?! It definitely has helped me kick the scale down now that I have reduced my sugar intake! You got this momma!!!! New Monday new goals!!!!! Xoxo
DeleteWhat a great post pretty girl!
ReplyDeleteYour race looks like loads of fun! I am doing a color run in April with my funniest friends!
I also suffer from tendonitis, alothough it is not as bad as it used to be. I remember once going to the gyno and almost jumping off the table because he touched my achilles tendon to adjust my foot in the stirrup thingys. Lmao I have found that the pain was less after I got fitted properly for running shoes and if I stretch my calves more after a workout. The pain is not near as bad as it was when I started running and its always after and not so much during.
Bahahahaha you crack me up! I just got fitted for new shoes in December! How long did it take for your foot not to kill you every morning when you wake up and step on it?!
DeleteThat's fantastic about your foot; that you were able to run your race with little to no pain. My Color Run 5k is in June! Seeing your photographs just make me more excited!

Hey, I was at that race, too. So now I know your hometown ;) I swear that is the shortest 3 mile race ever, and I thought the same thing last year. Maybe because it's just so much fun to run??? Glad you're running with less pain and that you're back to blogging again!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had so much fun! I'm running my first color run April 20th. Can't wait to be covered in color!
