Around this time last year my sister and I started Jillian Michael's Body Revolution 90 day workout. Thanks to that workout I was in the best shape of my life and I had the most confident summer to date! Which is why I decided (since my foot is still healing from my running injury) to start my second round of JMBR. I started yesterday! Once I start something there is no stoppin' this girl! The programs cardio days are on Wednesday and Saturdays so when I can run again I will run on the cardio days! I'm so excited to get back my muscle I gained from this program and those little tiny top two abs I had goin' on with it!
These workouts are only about 30 minutes long which I am not complaining about at all! but I might add some more running into the days once my foot is all better! I'm saying this out loud so y'all can hold me accountable! Anyone have this workout? I don't have a gym membership so I have to do all my workouts at home or out on the pavement my favorite "gym"!
I also challenged myself to squeaky clean eating which means I might die from lack of chocolate in my veins! If you don't hear from me for a couple of days someone hook up a chocolate iv to me asap! My MFP diary is open so if y'all see bad food in there please YELL AT ME!!!
My clean up the junk and 90 day work your booty off for summer challenge started on Superbowl Sunday so we'll see how long I can last without chocolate! I'm convinced they put crack in Dark Chocolate! We could almost do a pool of how long I'd last without it! I give it 2 weeks before I break (that's right around Valentines Day right?!)! But we shall see..........
It's a little chilly in San Diego today so I finally got to wear my head warmer that my sweet friend hand made and sent to me! Love it!

OMG, I am so excited! I just started this too. I had planned to start on Sunday but have been sick so I did the first one yesterday, got up early this AM to do the second and am doing cardio tonight (running) so that I can be on track to do workout 1 again tomorrow. I love that you are doing this again. I have had the workout for a while and would start but life got in the way.... But then when you mentioned your awesome results I decided to give it my all this time and finish it. I'm also training for the Country Music Half Marathon and that 12 week program started this week so I'll be on track to finish both around the same time. I'll be subbing running for cardio most days and double up one day a week for run and BR workout. This is my first half marathon and I am a very inexperienced runner. I've been trying to build up to 3 miles (Saturday's run) but me and both my kids have been down with ear infections and nasty colds so I may be doing more of a run/walk but that's okay by me. I'm hoping Jillian will get me in good enough shape that I'll be able to run the whole thing. I'll be following you religiously to keep up and keep myself motivated.

ReplyDeleteLove your little head warmer..I got one too very similar that I plan to wear for Mardi Gras if it's cool enough. Can't wait to see your progress from Ms. Michael's workout! And can't wait till we are both back up and running again! <3

DeleteJust started body revolution on Monday! So excited someone else is doing it with me. I'm adding in running or at least 45 minutes of another form cardio every day too. When you did BR last time how much weight did you loose or did you just use it to tone up? I have lost 60 lbs and have about another 35-40 to go and am hoping BR will get me down to my goal weight.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all congratulations on your 60lbs that is amazing!!! I was pretty close to my goal weight when I did the program and still had amazing results I lost 10lbs and 19inches and I toned up like never before! I have no doubt if you give it your all and stay on track with your eating you will have fantastic results especially since you're adding in running! Oh yes you will do great!!!!
